Since forming mglhr in 1998, Martin has helped an impressive array of clients around the world and across many industry sectors. His personable style, professional credentials and creative delivery have contributed much to the success of client organisations and to that of mglhr itself.
Martin has over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources Management and a further 10 years in other business disciplines. He is CIPD qualified and has British Psychological Society accreditation.
His skill set, probably unique within the HR field, has evolved from his background in auditing and finance and his experience of designing and implementing award-winning technology solutions. He has recently been involved in the following project areas: Performance Management, HR Strategy, HR Information Systems, Job Family and Remuneration Structures, designing and managing assessment centres for leadership development, 360 degree appraisal and high volume recruitment campaigns.
Martin consults very much from a practical business perspective rather than from a human resource ‘purist’ view; and because of this, he is much sought after by managers from executive levels to first line management, to improve their people management capability.
Jill’s career in HR started at The Stock Exchange in the 1980s. Since then, she has successfully helped many organisations in both the private and public sectors, using her considerable experience to develop highly effective solutions across a full range of HR disciplines.
In addition to her professional qualifications (and specific psychometric and assessment accreditation), Jill has a Batchelor of Arts degree. Her experience in recruitment and selection, Human Resources Management, and Training and Development are considerable.
The quality of Jill’s consultancy work is highly valued by our clients and her delivery is very much in demand.
David has vast experience of training, development and business support roles. His primary focus is to help clients on personal and team development across a range of competency areas.
David also has experience outside the business world working with England’s World Cup winning former manager, Sir Clive Woodward, to design a Coaching Skills programme for 50 front line rugby coaches. This illustrates just how versatile he can be!
He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, CIPD qualified and has Level B accreditation from the British Psychological Society.

John has many years of experience of Human Resources at both director and senior management levels. He is qualified in Level “A” and Level “B” psychometrics, and has used his development focus in many sectors. He combines rigorous analysis, business insight and strong strategic planning to deliver simple, practical solutions that work across whole businesses.
John’s practical application and his pragmatic delivery style have equipped many individuals and teams with the know how and confidence to optimise their effectiveness and to help them deal positively with change.
Not only is John a much sought-after consultant, but he also lectures part-time on HR related modules for the Certificate and Diploma in Management Studies, CIPD and MBA programmes.
Janice has over 25 years’ experience in HR, training and business support roles. She has completed a range of highly successful HR assignments across a broad spectrum of organisations and industries as an interim manager as well as an HR Consultant.
Janice has recently gained international HR experience and she has been very successful in delivering a range of personal development programmes, designing client specific HR Policies and Procedures, managing high volume recruitment campaigns, establishing job family frameworks and improving organisations’ role analysis capabilities.
